Ethics Lab

Get started

Follow these steps once to access your class simulations and self-knowledge tools on Ethics Lab.

1. Open the sign-in page

Use this link (bookmark it for later): ethicsteacher.org/account

Use the same address each time — preferably with www if your instructor shared that version.

2. Create your account

Select Create account and fill in:

  • First and last nameas you want them to appear to your instructor
  • Emailthe address you will use to sign in
  • Passwordat least 6 characters; keep a note of it
  • Rolechoose Student
  • Class or companyenter your class code (e.g. EMBA). Capital letters do not matter — emba and EMBA are treated the same.

After submitting, you should be able to sign in straight away — no email confirmation step is required for this class.

3. Sign in and open simulations

Select Sign in, enter your email and password, and choose Student as your role (it must match how you registered).

You will land on the simulations list. You can also go to Browse simulations from the homepage.

Only simulations assigned to your class will appear.

4. Try the Core Values Generator

After signing in, open the Core Values Generator — a guided five-question interview that helps you identify your seven core personal values.

Your completed profile is saved to your account (like simulation progress), so you can return anytime from My Dashboard or download a PDF to keep.

Your instructor may ask you to complete this before or alongside a simulation.

  • No simulations visibleconfirm your class code matches what your instructor gave you.
  • Do not create multiple accountsif sign-up seemed to fail, contact your instructor before trying again.

Contact your course instructor if you are still stuck. They can reset your access without you needing a password email.
